Chapter III: Sparks in summer Characters: SHINee boys and SUJU<33> Disclaimer: Don't own any of them, I really wish I do own them, even one would be good=x Summary: A day out with SUJU to quench the summer thirst, and Onew went kinda bonkers. Had to stop or else this whole thing would get too long-winded. Some typo here and there, pardon me. Enjoy=D Summer spells the time for.....SWIMMING!!!!! SHINee boys and their sunbae SUJU decided to head to the water-theme park where most people goes to during summer for some fun and games to ease their tensed mood from all the album promotions and concerts. That morning… “HYUNG~~~~~~~~~~~~~ it’s time to get ready or else we’ll be late!!!” the youngest screeched at the oldest member. “You wouldn’t want sunbaenim to be waiting for us don’t you?” That seriously got Onew jumping up from his sleep and all of a sudden charged towards the toilet which was right outside of their shared bedroom. With that, Taeminnie was left speechless in the room as he continued to wake Jonghyun up, the deep sleeper of the group. Alright, here goes, “HYUNG!!!!!!WAKE UP BEFORE YOU DIE UNDER UMMA’S SPATULA!!!!!” the younger boy jumped onto Jonghyun and started shaking the sleeping boy vigorously. “Aishhhhh…Just 5 minutes more won’t kill, just shut up!” Jonghyun yelled with his eyes still tightly shut. Before he knew it, Key is already infront of him with his favourite spatula in hand, “What did you just said to my son? You sure love to be hit by your spatula friend here every single day huh?!” Key smirked while staring down at Jonghyun who was already awake and in fear. Oh well, what can you expect from this? Jonghyun running for his life again, duh~ Must we go through this every single day? Key thought internally and let out a sigh of relieve as he watched the shorter boy ran out of the room towards the kitchen. Key gave his son, Taeminnie a pat on his head and tried to iron out his mushroom fringe but he failed. With one of his hand on Taeminnie’s shoulder, the both of them walked to the kitchen *BANG*, both of them turned towards the direction of the source of the loud bang, the toilet. “OMO~~~WHY IS THE STOOL HERE!!!!STUPID STOOL!!!OMO~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~” Onew yelled while giving the stool his deadly stare which doesn’t really matter, he kicked it, again…… “OMO~~~~~~~~DAMMIT!!!ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!” Everyone in the kitchen could imagine how he looked like at that moment. “Sighhhh…How dumb can he get?” Jonghyun shot out, everyone just shook their heads and agreed to that sentence silently. They got back to what they were doing in the first place, breakfast time! Eating the pancakes, bacons and sunny-side eggs that Key had prepared for all of them, they were all immersed in the warmth feeling they got from eating their umma’s cooking. Key’s keeping himself busy by packing some food enough for all of them to share with their sunbae SUJU. He packed everything that the members liked to eat, Taeminnie’s favourite chocolate, Jonghyun’s rainbow candies, Minho’s crabby crackers and Onew’s gimbap of course not forgetting his very own favourite, choco pie, he got tons of it to share with their sunbaenim. Onew finally marked himself present in the kitchen and started to gorge on his share of breakfast as if he hadn’t been eating for days. The sight of him gorging his food down caused the other four of them to stare at him like something was seriously wrong with this guy. “YAH!! LEE JINKI, WHY ARE YOU EATING LIKE THIS!? IT’S NOT AS IF I DIDN’T FEED YOU FOOD LAST NIGHT!!” Key yelled at his leader in a very frustrated tone. With the blank look on his face, Onew looked up at the rest of them with a piece of bacon still hanging on the side of his mouth “Omo~ Mianhae~ I feel really hungry after I kicked the stool in the toilet, as if the stool had eaten up all my energy…Mian~” ending it with his signature dorky smile plastered on his face. Everyone let out a soft sigh other than Key who’s still staring at that piece of bacon hanging on his hyung’s mouth, “God knows why our fans would fall in love with a guy like you who can’t even eat properly…” With that he pushed that piece of bacon into Onew’s mouth and went off to pack more food for the trip, leaving his leader dumbfounded by that small gesture from him. “Time to go now!!! Can’t wait to have fun in outside with sunbaenim!!! Whee~” Key exclaimed excitedly while holding onto his son’s hands and swinging the both of them in circles. He’s in an exceptionally good mood today =D “LET’S GO!!!” Jonghyun was first to step out of the dorm and he can’t stop jumping while waiting for the rest of his members as if he’s a five-year-old. Everyone seems excited about the trip to the water-theme park with SUJU. “SUNBAE~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ANYEONG!!!” the five young boys greeted their sunbae as they boarded the bus. “ANYEONG DONGSAENG!!!Are you guys ready for the trip?” the SUJU members asked in a very synchronised manner. Holding up their hands and bags, SHINee answered their sunbae’s question with their faces plastered with their shiny smiles "Deh~~~~". Time for some fun! Everyone’s in their comfortable outfit ready for all the fun and games that they’ll have. “COME ON LET’S GO!~” Eunhyuk and Eeteuk jumped up and ran towards the manmade wave pool hand in hand. Everyone started running like mad people towards the wave pool and you bet they sure can’t wait to get themselves wet in such a hot weather. “Now it’s time for some games I guess, please kindly divide yourselves into four different groups, shuffle yourselves well alright? Both me and Donghae be the umpire for the first game, we’ll all take turns so that all of us would be able to have fun today ok?” Eeteuk shouted so that everyone can hear him. “OK!!!!!!” everyone shouted as they got themselves into four different groups as what Eeteuk asked them to. Group 1: Ryeowook, Siwon, Jonghyun and Yesung Group 2: Kibum, Shindong, Minho and Hankyung Group 3: Eunhyuk, Sungmin, Key and Onew Group 4: Kyuhyun, Kangin, Taemin and Heechul “First up, we’ll have dodgeball! The group to score 5 points first would be the winner and the winners from both sides would have a final match, understand?” The oldest guy among all of them said. Everyone nodded to his question and was already getting themselves ready by doing all sorts of warming up exercises. “We’ll start with Siwon and Kibum’s groups. Get ready~ START!” Donghae signalled with a hand gesture and Siwon’s team got to serve first. Everything went on well and everyone was pretty excited as Minho got to score for his group by landing the ball at Ryeowook’s arm even as Ryeowook tried to dodge the attack. Yesung didn’t want his group to be losing and scored his group’s first goal by hitting Shindong at his belly which was a pretty good target XD Fast forward, 10 minutes later… Looks like we’ve got a winner now. “Wow~ that last shot from Kibum showed us our very first winner of the day!” Eeteuk said while clapping and the rest of them all practised great sportsmanship clapped along and cheered for all of them. “Next up, Eunhyuk and Kangin’s group!” everyone cheered and they got into their positions and the match started within no time. At the beginning of the match, Eunhyuk’s group was behind by 3 points until they got a time up and came up with the plan to attack the weakest player of Kangin’s group, Heechul. They got to even out their scores with the other team and Heechul was trying his very best to run away from all the shots that they thrown to him. His teammates were being oblivious to him getting attacked by the other group and he being Heechul shot up furiously, “YAH!!Are all of you blind? Can’t you see that they are all targeting me? Anybody just help!” Everyone laughed their asses off as they heard that from Heechul, “What are all of you laughing at?!” Heechul exclaimed. “Of course we know that, but it’s just too funny to see hyung getting attacked by them and you can’t seem to be able to do anything back to them! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!” Kangin said loudly as he started to laugh harder. Heechul charged towards Kangin and started to strangle him “You wanna die?!” Heechul said while trying hard to suppress his own laughter as he was holding onto his grip at Kangin’s neck, but he failed, he didn’t try hard enough. Everyone laughed even more as they saw Heechul and Kangin in their little act. As expected, Eunhyuk’s group claimed victory based on their wise strategy of targeting Heechul. Due to all these commotion, nobody actually paid attention to Onew who was staring blankly at Key throughout the whole entire time of the game but he did made an effort to recover in time to not get his group into trouble. He’s so cute…The way he smiles and laugh is so…Onew gave himself a kick internally when he realised that he was thinking about Key instead of concentrating on the games they were having with SUJU. When he got back to reality, he was already in another game with Kibum’s group and this time he was the target of everyone as he was staring into blank space. “RUN HYUNG!” Key shouted at him, before he knew it, he got hit in his head. Everyone went over to check if he was suffering from any concussion as he was hit pretty hard by the ball that Minho had thrown at him. “I’m so sorry hyung, are you alright? Can you stand?” Minho asked while putting his hand on Onew’s shoulder. “Ahh…Of course I’m fine Minho, kwaenchanna…” even before Onew could finish his sentence. “You shouldn’t stand there and go into daze when you’re playing dodgeball hyung, it’s dangerous you know?” Key said while rubbing Onew’s head with his own hands while looking down at his hyung worriedly. Onew felt bolts been sent down his spine as Key’s hands came in contact with his groggy head as if there’s sparks been created every single time Key rubbed his head for him. He was happy then, glad that he got hit by the ball in his head. Onew thought he’d gone mad but he’s officially happy to make Key’ worry about him. Is this really love? |
